What You'll Do.
Prepares and cooks meals for residents
Provides high quality dining service
Maintains a professional appearance
Works in a manner that promotes a safe and sanitary environment
Makes an active contribution towards improving community relations
Maintains appropriate levels of confidentiality
Ensures the provision of high-quality services
Reports resident and employee incidents
Shares in the responsibility for maintaining an environment
Participates in departmental and Community meetings
Supports and participates in the resident-centered activity program
Helps supervise and assists staff in production
Conducts quality assurance tests
Supervises safe food handling procedures
Monitors the labeling and proper storage of all foods
Cooks all foods in quantities according to menu
review and revision of menus
Assists in developing and maintaining recipes
Assists in adherence to staffing goals
Orders supplies and keeps records
Helps maintain preventative maintenance program
Immediately reports to maintenance any malfunction
Assists in reviewing and controlling food
Controls overproduction
Maintains accurate daily production records
