Must Have
Graduate in Mechanical engineering, 5-8 years’ experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing, Vendor functions, Experience in Gas Turbine blade OR rotating equipment’s, Experience of working as SQE for machining commodity, Sound understanding of Machining processes, special processes, castings, Forgings processes/materials, Ability to travel locally and internationally (50%), Demonstrate good EHS background, Familiar with India Environmental, health, and safety law and regulations, Expert in International Standards & Regulatory Requirements with specifications, Ability in understanding drawings, Geometrical Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), Manufacturing process plan (MPP) for machining process steps, Conducting FMEA’s, Ability to understand and establish appropriate inspection/measurement system based on the technical specification and functional characteristics

Perform Supplier Quality Assurance for Machining category

Manage onboarding of new supplier
Recommend improvements utilizing Supplier Scorecards
Ensure supplier compliance
Use Quality tools to identify risk
Define effective mitigation plan
Lead robust root cause analysis
Use DMAIC methodology / APOLLO RCA to identify
Conduct audits (Process
Act as Expert for Quality
Engineering organizations
Improve Quality and Manufacturing processes at supplier end
Mentor Suppliers to deliver products on time
Ensure full compliance
Be responsible for key metrics defined for Quality
