What They're Looking For.
Must Have
At least 5+ years of experience in Food & Beverage sourcing & purchasing, with a background in B2B trading (NOT raw materials/SCM planning for manufacturing)., Hold at least one managerial role., Experience with sourcing fresh food (vegetable, fruit, meat,. . . )., Logical thinking, problem-solving, good communication & leadership skills., verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships., Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation abilities., Proactive, self-motivated, result-focused, and eager to learn new things., Fluent English and solid knowledge in the F&B Market., Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Nice to Have
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is preferred.
What You'll Do.
End-to-end process from finding suppliers
and high-quality delivery to warehouses.
Oversee daily ordering and purchasing activity on the fresh food category across all cities.
Manage stock levels to ensure sufficient stock for daily
Monitor and secure KPIs on Out-of-stock
and other upcoming metrics.
Continue to source new suppliers to seek quality and price advantages.
Negotiate payment terms with suppliers to gain benefit on the cash flow.
Control suppliers’ on-time delivery to contribute to smooth Operations.
Conduct market price research to ensure internal price competitiveness.
Review portfolio performance and come up with suggestions on removing and adding new SKUs.
Collaborate with Operations to handle issues related to suppliers such as quality
Conduct weekly warehouse visits to check real stock status to control out-of-stock
quality & expiration.
Collaborate with Accounting on contract
Formulate supplier strategy to gain bargaining power and stock availability.
Conduct site visits to evaluate supplier’s facilities and operation capability.
Source new suppliers and get quotations for the Sales team to pitch to customers.
Collaborate with the Sales team to prepare stock for running weekly
and develop the food team across cities.
Travel between cities to supervise performance & address prolongedly unsolved problems to meet KPIs.
Continue to come up with kaizens to enhance business competitive advantages over market competitors.
Handle other tasks given by the line manager and BOD.

Collaborating with various departments, including Operations, Accounting, and Sales, to ensure smooth and efficient processes.; Collaborate with Operations to handle issues related to suppliers such as quality, returning, and delivery time.; Collaborate with Accounting on contract, debt aspects.; Source new suppliers and get quotations for the Sales team to pitch to customers.; Collaborate with the Sales team to prepare stock for running weekly, monthly campaigns.; Recruit, train, guide, and develop the food team across cities.; Travel between cities to supervise performance & address prolongedly unsolved problems to meet KPIs.
