Must Have
High school diploma or GED equivalent, Current enrollment in an AMA or CMA accredited program in diagnostic ultrasound required, CPR certification through American Heart Associate or American Red Cross required
Nice to Have
AMA or CMA accredited program in diagnostic ultrasound
What You'll Do.
Performs or assists in performing quality ultrasound examinations in a timely and efficient manner while under the supervision and/or direction of a staff Sonographer
ensuring consistent workflow and high level of productivity.
Schedules procedures and maintains appropriate records that contribute to the efficiency of department operations.
Assists with room preparation and restocking of rooms and other departmental storage areas with supplies necessary for patient care and procedures.
Participates in educational activities to enhance patient care and quality of services provided.
Ensures age/developmentally appropriate care is provided in accordance with Age-Specific Care Guidelines for the specific age groups served to ensure patient's needs are met.
