What You'll Do.
Perform cardiac ultrasound procedures
Make necessary measurements for interpretation
Assist physicians in Catheterization and Electrophysiology Labs
Identify and define cardiac abnormalities
Extend scope of examination appropriately
Prepare patients for procedures
Obtain clinical history from patient
Adapt imaging techniques to obtain diagnostic echocardiograms
Assist in performing transesophageal studies
Calculate appropriate measurements
Communicate clinical findings to staff
Perform daily maintenance of Echocardiography Lab
Report all malfunctions
Provide care appropriate to patient age
