What You'll Achieve.
Achieve great outcomes for users; Deliver full end-to-end digital transformation expertise to the very highest standards from discovery to development and beyond; Ensure solutions are robust, compelling and aligned with NEC Digital Studio’s strategic direction; Define propositions, ensuring these are technically proficient, deliverable and meet market demand; Develop compelling, differentiating solutions; Formulate a full end-to-end solution for our clients; Define an integrated, robust, and scalable solution; Continuously improve solution offerings and guide the technical strategy of the company
Industry & Context.
Proven ability to analyse complex issues and, working alone or with others, design effective solutions
Must have lived in the UK for 5 consecutive years or more to be eligible for Security Clearance, Candidates must be able to demonstrate a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK, All offers are subject to satisfactory vetting, references and occupational health checks, Depending on the nature of the role a Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check may also be required
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Proven experience as a Solution Architect, Solution Lead or other relevant discipline within the IT services industry, Proficient in both AWS and Azure cloud platform services and solutions, Experience in developing winning solutions for bids and with bid processes, The confidence and verbal dexterity required to lead solution workshops, Ability to clearly articulate solutions, Proven ability to analyse complex issues and, working alone or with others, design effective solutions, Collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills and capable of working with diverse teams and clients, Lived in the UK for 5 consecutive years or more to be eligible for Security Clearance
Nice to Have
Experience working with, or for, public sector clients is highly desirable
What You'll Do.
Lead the end-to-end solution design process from early concept
and initial engagement with clients and SMEs
ensuring alignment with client requirements and business capabilities
Contribute to internal projects to develop new digital solutions
Lead teams to define propositions
ensuring these are technically proficient
deliverable and meet market demand
Own and lead solution responses for RFIs
Work closely with SMEs
bid and sales teams to develop compelling
differentiating solutions
Liaise with roles including: technical architects
business analysts and UCD SMEs
in order to formulate a full end-to-end solution for our clients
Present and articulate solution designs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
including within solution documents
presentations and solution sign-off packs
Maintain client relationships
understanding their needs and aligning them with feasible and innovative technological solutions
Keep abreast of emerging technologies
industry trends and best practices to continuously improve solution offerings and guide the technical strategy of the company
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Act as a facilitator, bringing together a full range of disciplines needed to define an integrated, robust, and scalable solution; Work closely with SMEs, sub-consultants, bid and sales teams; Liaising with roles including: technical architects, engineering leads, support heads, business analysts and UCD SMEs; Collaborative with excellent interpersonal skills and capable of working with diverse teams and clients
Communication Scope
Confidence and verbal dexterity required to lead solution workshops; Ability to clearly articulate solutions; Present and articulate solution designs clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
