What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3-5 years in Solutions Engineering or Sales Engineering at a SaaS company with enterprise buyers, Understand AI/ML concepts well enough to explain document processing, risk signal extraction, and automated decision-making to a CIO under pressure without flinching, Built and delivered customized demos before, Thrive in early-stage, fast-growth environments and are comfortable with ambiguity and change, Own problems end-to-end and proactively devise solutions, London-based, able to travel to customer sites, comfortable in the London office 2–3 days per week, Candidates must be authorised to work in the UK without requiring employer sponsorship
Nice to Have

Solutions Engineer, UK Insurance underwriting runs on human judgment, manual workflows, and knowledge locked in someone's head. It breaks when that person leaves and doesn't scale when the book doubles. Sixfold is building AI agents that understand risk the way a 20-year veteran underwriter does. Not summaries or flags, but systems that make real decisions on billions in premium for some of the world's largest carriers. AI is the product, the workflow, and the moat. The Solutions Engineer is the person who makes carriers believe that's possible and then proves it. If you live and breathe AI tools, understand how models work under the hood, and can translate that into business outcomes for a room full of skeptical underwriters, this role was written for you.
