What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, 5+ years in technical support, sales engineering, implementation engineering, or a related role, Foundation in software development concepts and programming languages, Ability to analyze and solve technical challenges with attention to detail, Proven subject-matter able to lead without heavy oversight, Strategic, solutions-oriented mindset, Alignment with Overflow’s mission and values, Commitment to hybrid work, including in-person collaboration days, Communication, accountability, and resilience, Excellent communication and attention to detail, Time management and ability to meet deadlines
Nice to Have
Experience as a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Implementation Consultant, Technical Account Manager, or Solutions Architect in SaaS or fintech, Familiarity with role-relevant tools and platforms

WHO YOU ARE Overflow is seeking a mission-aligned, results-oriented Solutions Engineer to support both the sales and onboarding experience for our partners. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with the GTM, Product, Engineering, and Onboarding teams to guide churches and nonprofits through technical discovery, integrations, implementation, and activation. You’ll serve as a trusted technical advisor during the sales process, helping prospects understand Overflow’s platform, integrations, security, and implementation approach while translating technical concepts into clear business value. Following the sale, you’ll help ensure successful onboarding and implementation across Overflow products — from integrations and data imports to troubleshooting and partner support.
