What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years experience in investment or financial organizations, Hands-on experience performing climate risk assessments, Hands-on experience performing investment analysis, Hands-on experience performing other forms of climate risk modeling, Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
Nice to Have
Proficiency with CRM and other sales tooling, Advanced financial credentials such as CFA, MBA, or equivalent certifications, An analytical mindset with the ability to understand and communicate complex technical solutions, Demonstrated success in supporting sales efforts and driving technical implementation, Research skills and the ability to quickly gather and synthesize information about client requirements and market trends
What You'll Do.
Bridge the gap between technical capability and client business needs
Support account executives and clients as a trusted technical partner
Translate product into actionable business insights
Guide clients on adoption
Collaborate with climate science
and data teams to shape product requirements
Ensure effective client implementation
Understand client needs
Provide technical support during the sales process
Influence the evolution of our product roadmap
Ensure solutions are effectively developed and implemented
Understand client business need / pain points
Provide technical support and analytical solutioning throughout the sales process
Act as a subject matter expert
Guide solutions in a way that will resonate with investors and financial organizations
Perform live demonstrations of the First Street Enterprise Suite software solution
Tailor presentations and product demonstrations to address business needs and use cases
Highlight the value and capabilities of First Street’s solutions
Prepare and validate datasets provided by clients
Assist in the preparation of proposals
and other technical sales materials
Address technical questions related to data delivery mechanisms
Build sales materials that translate product capabilities into actionable business outcomes
Understand and effectively communicate the technical aspects of our products
Provide feedback from clients that directly impact our roadmap
Respond to client inquiries regarding our data product
Provide clear and detailed explanations of data fields
and appropriate usage
Develop and maintain relationships with key technical stakeholders at client organizations
Stay informed on industry trends

How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Work closely with our product and science teams; Support our account executives and clients; Collaborating closely with our climate science, economics, product, and data teams; Report directly to the Director of Enterprise Solutions, working closely with the sales team; Work closely with First Street’s climate science, economics, data, and software engineering teams
Communication Scope
Excellent communication and presentation skills; Ability to understand and communicate complex climate scenario & climate science concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders
