What They're Looking For.
Must Have
15 + years of related experience, BAS (or equivalent experience), Security+ CE or CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+ or CSSLP or other DoD 8140 certification, Ability to Obtain ITIL 4 Foundation – ITSM Certification within the first 9 months, Must be capable of performing analysis of system operations, Must be capable of system decomposition via OMG frameworks (UML, DoDAF 2. 0/UPDM, SysML, UAF), Must be able to model systems via different perspectives (e.g. capability, operational, system, functional) and at various levels of abstraction, Must be able to meet with stakeholders in a variety of system domains and analyze requirement, process, system, and/or capability, Must be capable of extending UML-based models to other tools or modeling environments via existing frameworks/API’s, Must have the ability to generate/produce data and reports
Nice to Have
Certification in modeling, e. g. OCSMP (OMG Certified Systems Modeling Professional), Experience modeling complex systems for Department of Defense or other government organizations, Experience publishing models to web-based or document-based formats, Experience developing applications using object-oriented programming languages (Java preferred), Experience in a rapid paced, time sensitive, high quality environment, Crestron Certified Programmer (CCP) or Certified User Experience Designer (CUED), or Python Certification (PCAP or similar)
What You'll Do.
Analyze and recommend improvements to existing infrastructure and service offerings
Provide guidance and support in modernizing and securing networks
Refactor applications and migrate remaining data center applications to cloud
Partner with customers to understand and participate in the development of new mission support IT strategies
Assess current and future skills and technologies to support emerging mission needs
Make recommendations in the shaping of the future of enterprise architecture and roadmaps
Assess DoD frameworks (DoDAF
Ensure implemented use cases adhere to frameworks
Develop 'as is' and 'to be' architecture and solutions focusing on scalability and extensibility
Assist in executing and maintaining enterprise Agile/SAFe activities
Lead model development and curation for the enterprise architecture utilizing MBSE methods according to UAF standards
Define digital platform architecture frameworks
including design methodology and best practices
Implement the platform under the control of an automated configuration management framework
Provide in-depth knowledge of information security
Hold responsibility for the architecture of the data framework required by operations to collect and make available program performance metrics
