What They're Looking For.
Must Have
experience in Data Warehousing (Star/Snowflake, Medallion, Data Vault), Hands-on expertise in GCP, including: BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Composer (Airflow), Dataflow/Dataproc, Proficiency in SQL and Python, Experience with ETL/ELT, data modeling, and performance optimization, Knowledge of batch & streaming architectures and API integrations, Proven experience designing enterprise-scale data platforms, understanding of cloud architecture, distributed systems, and data security (IAM, governance), Experience with modern data architecture patterns, including data mesh and domain-driven architecture, Understanding of AI/ML use cases in data platforms, Familiarity with GCP AI tools (e. g. , Vertex AI) and ML-ready data pipelines
Nice to Have
GCP Certifications (Professional Data Engineer / Cloud Architect), Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid environments, Exposure to BI tools (Tableau, ThoughtSpot, Power BI), Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices

Own and lead end-to-end solution architecture for data and analytics platforms

Define data architecture standards
and governance frameworks
Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time processing
Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions
Drive cloud transformation and modernization initiatives
and cost optimization
Incorporate AI/ML capabilities to enable predictive and intelligent analytics
Apply data mesh and domain-driven design principles to enable decentralized
scalable data ownership
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams
