You must be a Texas resident to work for the Texas Workforce Commission or willing to relocate to Texas. WHO YOU ARE: We're looking for an IT professional who can translate business challenges into technical solutions, using their expertise and following our established SDLC. The ideal candidate is highly motivated with strong problem-solving and analytical skills. A customer-focused attitude and strong communication skills are essential. WHAT YOU WILL DO: The Solutions Analyst (Systems Analyst IV) is selected by and accountable to the Solutions Analyst Manager with the approval of the IT Central Intake and Quality Assurance Director, Deputy Chief Information Officer and Chief Information Officer. Performs highly complex (senior-level) computer systems analysis work. Work involves planning and analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve Applications Solutions (AS) systems. Work is performed under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Maintains a reliable predictable work schedule. May provide guidance or oversee the work of others. May be called upon to work outside of normal business hours to complete urgent assignments or troubleshoot critical issues.
