JOB SUMMARY: OpenGov is seeking a detail-oriented and mission-driven Solutions Engineer I - Government Finance with a strong background in accounting or public finance to guide government agencies through the evaluation of OpenGov’s ERP solutions. This role is ideal for a public accountant or financial professional who understands governmental accounting practices and wants to help modernize financial operations across the public sector. As a Government Finance SME, you will leverage your accounting expertise to assess client needs, evaluate financial workflows, and demonstrate how OpenGov’s solutions support budgeting, general ledger, reporting, procurement, and other critical finance functions.
