Full Job Description

State Street Investment Management (“State Street IM”) is seeking a Solution Architect to design and support the implementation of solution architectures across key business areas, including Investment Management, Product, and Client Experience. This is a senior role within the Solution Architecture function. The Solution Architect focuses on hands‑on architecture design and delivery enablement, working closely with Product Owners, Engineering Leads, POD teams, and System Architects embedded in business verticals. Under the direction of the Head of Solution Architecture, the role applies established solution architecture principles, reference architectures, and integration patterns to ensure solutions are consistent, scalable, and aligned with enterprise platforms. This role concentrates on execution‑level architecture, supporting day‑to‑day delivery and translating architectural direction into practical designs. **Key Responsibilities** **Solution Architecture Delivery** * Design end‑to‑end solution architectures for assigned domains, initiatives, or products. * Translate business, functional, and non‑functional requirements into clear solution designs and architecture artifacts. * Produce and maintain solution blueprints, integration diagrams, and design documentation in line with enterprise standards. **Collaboration with System Architects & Delivery Teams** * Work closely with **System Architects** within Investment, Product, and Client Experience verticals to align domain designs with enterprise architecture intent. * Coordinate integration patterns and dependencies across systems and platforms. * Support POD teams by providing architectural clarity, design guidance, and ongoing consultation through the delivery lifecycle. **Platform & Integration Alignment** * Apply approved enterprise platforms and patterns, including **Enterprise Services, Data & Analytics, AI, and Cloud platforms**. * Promote service‑first, API‑driven, and event‑driven integration approache
