What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Minimum of seven years’ post-secondary education or relevant work experience, 7+ years of experience in enterprise planning, financial systems, or analytics, Hands-on Anaplan model building and architecture, Demonstrated experience acting as a product owner/manager or lead consultant for financial systems or planning platforms, understanding of finance/accounting concepts, Proven consulting and communication skills, Familiarity with integration tools and APIs, Demonstrated strength in data modeling, master data management, metadata management, and performance-optimized design

Nice to Have

Anaplan Level 2 Model Builder, Solution Architect, or Master Anaplanner certification, Experience in higher education or similarly complex, decentralized organizations, Completion of Harvard IT Academy specified foundational courses (or external equivalent)

What You'll Do.

Own technical ecosystem and product vision for Anaplan

Serve as primary technical owner of Anaplan environment

Design end-to-end technical architecture

Define environment strategy and promotion paths

Lead detailed Harvard model design

Design driver-based planning and calculations

Define non-functional requirements

Own integration design to and from Anaplan

Establish data and metadata standards

Implement reconciliation controls

Define data quality rules

Design the security model

Ensure handling of sensitive data

Define and oversee testing strategy

Lead cutover and migration planning

Define operational monitoring

Shape Anaplan governance

Lead viability assessments

Serve as product owner for Anaplan platform

and reconcile requirements

Translate business needs into user stories

Champion user experience and adoption
