Must Have
A degree in Engineering, Science or a related field is required., Hands-on operational experience with a comprehensive knowledge of SLS and heritage Booster hardware design/production/assembly., Hands-on experience with Booster operational processes, procedures, and systems., Extensive experience with SLS and heritage Booster assembly production planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling is required., Knowledge of SLS and heritage hardware production processing facilities, equipment, and tooling at the Rotation Processing and Surge Facility, VAB and prime contractor facilities., Experience and detailed knowledge of Booster assembly operations, sequencing timelines, labor-loading, and the associated operations procedures., Demonstrated effective communication skills dealing with a technically diverse group of personnel (technician/engineer/quality/management) with a broad range of experience., Must be a US Citizen and have a STAR ID.
Nice to Have
A degree from an ABET-accredited university is desired., Ability to effectively communicate significant programmatic/technical issues and potential resolution options to appropriate BEO personnel., Working knowledge of the Booster element including an understanding of Booster unique production planning document development processes., Previously demonstrated effective working relationship with Booster design/assembly personnel., An understanding and knowledge of the current SLS program and a working understanding of the SLS vehicle and interfaces.
