Eligibility Requirements

Willing to obtain GED within first 6 months of employment, Must have a valid state driver’s license and good driving record, Ability to work overtime and non-standard working hours (nights, holidays, weekends), when needed, Able to work both independently and as part of a multi-tasking team, Travel required as needed, Able to travel (approximately 5%), Clearway will not sponsor nonimmigrant visas for this position (H-1B, TN, E-3, etc.)

Demonstrable mechanical aptitude, Basic electrical knowledge, Understanding of general workplace safety, Ability to follow safety standards, Valid state driver’s license and good driving record, Ability to work overtime and non-standard working hours (nights, holidays, weekends), when needed, Professionalism, Excellent communication skills, Ability to operate a computer with technical proficiency of standard business software, Knowledge of applicable safety and environmental regulations, Able to work both independently and as part of a multi-tasking team

Nice to Have

2-year technical degree or equivalent, Journeyman certification/qualifications

What You'll Do.

and repairing solar PV systems and associated equipment

and profitable solar PV operation

Assists higher level Technicians in performing maintenance

Performs other technical and administrative duties associated with operating and maintaining a power facility

Ensures work is performed in accordance with Environmental and Safety requirements

Participate in required training

and emergency maintenance and operations

Performs work independently and/or in work crews

Executes routine electrical troubleshooting and repair

Performs complex maintenance work

Complete work orders for the preventive maintenance management system

and emergency maintenance on all PV Solar equipment

Prepares and implements switching and clearance orders

Operates all electrical and mechanical PV Solar power plant systems

Operating Instructions and other documents

How You'll Work.

Team & Collaboration

Able to work both independently and as part of a multi-tasking team; Assists higher level Technicians; Works with Operations Center; Works with supervisor

Communication Scope

Professionalism and excellent communication skills; Able to communicate verbally and in writing
