POSITION OVERVIEW The Software Systems Analyst supports government stakeholders by translating organizational needs into clear technical requirements and user stories. This role works with government organizations to review their organizational processes for improvements, flowchart that process, and help evaluate potential digital solutions. When digital solutions are needed the requirements are broke up into a project’s user stories for developers. Create and manage project plans. When completed the analyst will test those solutions against the requirements, testing for security, functionality, and assuring an intuitive user experience. The analyst also troubleshoots issues during development and after deployment. Success requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within an Agile/Scrum environment.
