What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience, Minimum 5 years’ experience in a software quality engineering role, At least 2 years focused on test automation, Practical experience working in Agile software development environments, Understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices, including manual and automated testing, Proficiency in test automation using at least one programming language such as C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript, Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, Solid understanding of test architecture, design patterns, and automation best practices, including building and maintaining test frameworks, Experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including .NET /.NET Core, SQL Server / Azure SQL, and Visual Studio, SQL skills for backend data validation, Experience with version control systems (e.g. Git), Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g. Azure DevOps Pipelines, GitHub Actions, Jenkins), Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail, Ability to prioritise, multitask, and work effectively in cross‑functional teams, Clear, professional communication and collaboration skills
Nice to Have
Experience working in regulated or quality‑driven medical device or health information systems experience is an asset, Preference for C# and .NET, Knowledge of performance and load testing tools (e. g. JMeter, Azure Load Testing an asset), Basic knowledge of AI concepts and their application in software systems
What You'll Do.
and maintain automated test scripts
Perform manual testing and analyse test results
Identify and prioritise test cases for automation
Review test cases and provide feedback
and support defect resolution
Continuously improve test automation frameworks
Maintain regulatory-compliant verification documentation
Ensure test artefacts are complete and audit-ready
Investigate customer escalations
