You will report to the Development Process Assurance Manager and have a hybrid work schedule in Elma, NY. This role offers the opportunity to play a critical role in the development, qualification and testing of advanced control systems for aircraft actuators and valves across MAG, CAG and SDG. The **Software Quality Assurance Engineer** audits and reviews engineering development work products and activities to verify compliance with established standards and processes. The primary focus is on Software Development audits with additional responsibilities in Systems and Electronical Design Engineering oversight. **As a Software Quality Assurance Engineer, you will:** * Perform audits and reviews of Software, Systems and Electronic Engineering artifacts to ensure a high degree of integrity. * This includes the tailoring of department standard audit and review tools to specific projects assuring compliance to Moog, Military, FAA, EASA, and NASA requirements. * Identify variances and track problem resolution to closure. The incumbent will facilitate compliance with Engineering standards through various levels of requests for corrective action. * You will be proactive in identifying potential project problems and assuring that they are addressed. * Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary design and development team to solve process issues and participate in every phase of the design and development lifecycle,
