Must Have
Active Secret U. S. Security Clearance, Bachelor's Degree, At least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”, 5 or more years of experience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
Nice to Have
Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science, Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Experience in aircraft, avionics, flight controls, and/or other electronics, Experience in object-oriented software development, Experience in Earned Value Management (EVM) techniques

Full Job Description
Software Engineering Manager (Level K) **Company:** The Boeing Company The F-15 Mission Systems Software (MSS) Team is currently seeking a **Software Engineering Manager (Level K)** in **Berkeley,** **MO** to lead a group of ~20 software engineers within up to three (3) scrum teams on the F-15 Mission Systems Agile Release Train. The successful candidate will enable the F-15 Program to continue to expand its domestic and international business base, and participate in advancing fighter aircraft technology. This team develops real-time embedded Operational Flight Program (OFP) software that resides in the heart of the F-15 Weapon System, the Advanced Display Core Processor (ADCP) Mission Computer and soon to be Mission Computer Architecture (MCA). The software written by these up to three scrum teams enhances the F-15 aircraft’s mission capability by utilizing the aircraft many different sub-systems as well as the integration with the many weapons on the aircraft. The team is responsible for the design, code implementation, and the various levels of testing of the OFP software as well as supporting the development of the system and subsystem requirements. The team develops products for both USAF and International customers. Current and future USAF work includes Suite upgrade programs and work on the F-15EX new build aircraft for the USAF. International customers currently include Qatar, Saudi, Japan, and Korea with the potential for additional sales and upgrades in the near future.
