Must Have
5+ years of professional software engineering experience with a focus on backend technologies and distributed systems, 2+ years of experience in a software engineering leadership role, Demonstrated expertise in attracting, recruiting, and retaining top engineering talent, Proficiency with CI/CD tools and platforms, Knowledge of database architecture and design, Practical experience deploying and managing applications in cloud environments, Experience with system architecture, scalability principles, and performance optimization techniques, Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies, Coach abilities, Make decisions based on data, analysis and solving issues, Present and explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, Demonstrated empathy, modesty, and emotional understanding in team interactions, Experience collaborating across product, design, business, and program management departments, Complete work with strategies and adapting to changing priorities, Organize work, managing time, and detailing every aspect, Experience with high-scale systems handling millions of transactions or messages, Familiarity with AI and machine learning integration in software solutions, Background in performance management, goal-setting frameworks, and talent development programs, Experience working in start up environment or scaling organizations, Knowledge of security best practices and compliance requirements in software development
