As a leader of the EKS compute and runtime team you will be responsible for building and owning core services responsible for EKS products including EKS Auto and EKS Hybrid. The teams charter is to manage Kubernetes worker nodes and related software components that help monitor and repair nodes. It is a critical team that helps manage AI/ML workload infrastructure. Your team will build solutions to ensure the safety and stability of software the team operates, integrate with other AWS services with an eye towards simple and streamlined interfaces. You will own staffing and managing the engineering team, product development, setting the team culture, best practices, and organizational planning.
