Must Have

Bachelors Degree, "U. S. Person" as defined by 22 C. F. R. §120. 62, 3+ years of experience in software development life cycles, configuration management and best agile software engineering practices, at least one year of experience in a leadership role (team leader, temp manager, large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience)

Nice to Have

Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science, 3+ years of experience in cross-functional leadership, collaborative problem solving, building lasting relationships & proficiency in written and verbal communication, 3+ years of experience managing or leading teams in a software engineering discipline, Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, Experience in software development using Java, JavaScript, and Node. Software Engineering Manager **Company:** The Boeing Company The Boeing Company is looking for a **Software Engineering Manage****r** to join our Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) organization in **Everett, WA.** The team supports two cloud service infrastructure platforms. The first is BCA’s public-facing global infrastructure, which facilitates air-to-ground communication between multiple Boeing business unit applications and airline operators. The second is Boeing’s secure infrastructure that stores, receives, and distributes aircraft software. Additionally, the team is responsible for all aircraft loadable software processes and standards. The ideal candidate will have strong people management skills while providing technical oversight to engineering employees supporting the software lifecycle. Management duties will span all phases of the software development lifecycle, including oversight of requirements, architecture/design, quality assurance, and service support. The candidate will develop and execute integrated departmental plans, policies, and procedures, and provide input on departmental business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives.
