What They're Looking For.
Must Have
BS or MS in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience, 12+ years of hands on experience in the industry involving designing and developing cloud scale and highly available server applications and services, 5+ years of experience in leading, mentoring, and managing development teams, or other similar leadership roles, Exceptional proficiency in Java or similar programming language, Expertise in Cloud Infrastructure platforms such as AWS, Experience developing large, highly scalable, available and resilient cloud data systems, Experience managing senior level engineering talent and geo distributed teams, Experience in hiring key talent and setting up teams for success
Nice to Have
Exposure to Information Retrieval with hands on experience in Lucene/ElasticSearch/OpenSearch, Exposure to Vector Databases and ML Infrastructure, Experience in monitoring and improving reliability of a complex system at scale, Aware of Security and Compliance challenges in Cloud products and/or platforms
