**Who we are looking for** We are looking for a Payments **Software Engineering & Development, AVP** reporting directly to the Payment Platform Lead. In this role, you will partner with business stakeholders, payment operations, product owners, and technology teams to support domestic and international payment capabilities across business-critical platforms. You will be responsible for understanding end-to-end payment workflows, documenting and validating requirements, driving process improvements, and helping deliver scalable, compliant, and efficient solutions across payment types such as wire transfers, ACH, RTGS, SEPA, instant payments, and cross-border transactions in a highly regulated environment. **Why this role is important to us** The team you will be joining is part of our Global Technology and Payment Platforms organization, a function that is vital to the company because it enables the secure, timely, and resilient movement of critical financial transactions. This role is important because it ensures payment business requirements are accurately defined, business processes are clearly understood across regions and payment rails, and change initiatives are aligned to operational controls, regulatory expectations, client needs, and strategic platform transformation priorities. **What you will be responsible for** As a Payments **Software Engineering & Development, AVP**, you will: \- Partner with business stakeholders, payment operations teams, product owners, and technology teams to gather, analyze, and document business, functional, data, and control requirements for domestic and international payment capabilities. \- Support initiatives across domestic and cross-border payment flows, including wire transfers, ACH, RTGS, SEPA, instant payments, and account-based processing models as applicable to the platform landscape. \- Work across major domestic and international payment markets and schemes such as Fedwire, CHIPS, CHAPS, CHATS, TARGET services, SWIFT
