What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Experience writing production-level software in at least one modern programming language, Ability to work independently on moderately complex problems and deliver reliable solutions, collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams, Demonstrates an agile mindset, adapting to new information and following work through to completion, Comfortable using AI-powered tools (e. g. ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Copilot) to support coding, learning, and productivity, Experience with ML-assisted development workflows and experimentation, Applies AI thoughtfully and responsibly, reviewing outputs for accuracy, bias, and relevance before use, Curious and motivated to continuously learn new technologies and improve your craft
Nice to Have
Experience with relational and non-relational databases, Familiarity with cloud platforms (eg AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (eg Docker, Kubernetes), and deployment workflows, Exposure to Trust & Safety, machine learning systems, or recommendation systems
