This is a unique opportunity to make a significant impact and grow your skills in a forward-thinking company. **_We will count on you to:_** * Deliver complete software solutions using best practices to ensure performance and reliability. * Work directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into compatible software solutions. * Develop a strong understanding of financial markets to engage effectively with business partners. * Collaborate with DataOps, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to ensure projects use the most appropriate technologies. * Participate in production support, including monitoring and managing applications, APIs, overnight batches, and data feeds. * Stay current with emerging technologies and bring innovative ideas to the team. * Represent the firm’s engineering brand through industry engagement (meetups, conferences, blogging, open source). * Contribute to a culture of learning and knowledge sharing within the team. **_What you need to have:_** * Minimum 2 years of relevant industry experience. * Strong Python skills, with production experience in building API services and microservices. * Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases; ability to write performant queries. * Ability to troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes. * Familiarity with event-driven architectures (or a strong desire to learn). * Experience with Big Data technologies (Hive, Apache Nifi, Apache Airflow) is a plus, but not required. * Willingness to learn
