## Accountabilities Design and build core platform systems that support a high-scale database infrastructure, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability for global workloads. Contribute to the development and evolution of distributed systems powering database services used by high-traffic applications. Collaborate with a team of experienced engineers to solve complex challenges in distributed systems, performance optimization, and system reliability. Work autonomously to analyze and resolve technical and business problems with minimal supervision, delivering robust and scalable solutions. Engage directly with customers to understand requirements and translate them into effective platform and infrastructure improvements. Debug, maintain, and enhance large-scale codebases while ensuring high standards of quality, performance, and maintainability. Requirements: 5+ years of software engineering experience with a strong focus on backend systems, distributed systems, or infrastructure engineering. Strong proficiency in Go, with additional experience in languages such as Python, Java, or C++. Solid understanding of relational databases (e.g., MySQL) and experience working with high-scale data systems. Experience with Kubernetes and containerized cloud-native environments.
