What They're Looking For.
Must Have
4+ years of professional software engineering experience, proven track record in a product-driven environment building SaaS applications, proficiency in Java, proficiency in Spring Boot, proficiency in RESTful API development, deep understanding of OOP, deep understanding of design patterns, deep understanding of microservices architecture, Extensive experience with relational database management, Extensive experience with schema design using PostgreSQL or MySQL, Extensive experience with complex SQL query optimization, Practical experience with AWS (or another major cloud provider), Practical experience with container orchestration using Docker, Practical experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes/EKS, Good understanding of modern DevOps practices, Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, Solid understanding of enterprise network/file transfer protocols (e.g., SFTP, HTTPS, AS2), Solid understanding of secure communication standards (SSL/TLS, encryption), Deep experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito), commitment to clean, maintainable code, analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, Experience working effectively within Agile/Scrum development environments
