4 to 6 years in IT, minimum ~4 years hands-on Programming Experience, at least 2-3 years directly focused on MBSE tools (preferably Cameo) and Java plugin development, End-to-End Software Engineering, Established Java & Software Engineering Foundation, independent command of Java programming, prior hands-on software development experience, SysML/UML fundamentals, understanding how these modeling languages are structured, understanding the extensibility through Profiles and Stereotypes, Cameo Systems Modeler customization and tailoring means, Cameo Systems Modeler Open API, Cameo Systems Modeler plugin lifecycle management, Eagerness to work with Modelling tools, upskill in order to better understand business needs, Application packaging and deployment in software service platforms, Sense of detail, passion for software and technologies that solve problems, Curiosity & team player attitude, wish to evolve with your team, Good communication & active listening
Nice to Have
Experience with other Eclipse Modeling Framework based modeling tools (i. e. Capella), DevOps orientation, knowledge of continuous integration frameworks, Docker, Artifactory, Git, Jenkins, VersionOne
What You'll Do.
Ensure technical coordination and robust IT architecture implementation & deployment
Act as CAMEO plugin “Developer”
and challenge business needs
Evaluate potential plugin or architectural solutions
and maintain Java-based plugins for Cameo Systems Modeler
Actively create and manipulate UML/SysML models within Cameo
Write and automate unit and integration tests in Java
Perform rigorous manual functional testing directly inside the Cameo user interface
Manage the end-to-end packaging of plugins
Handle version configurations
Act as the entry point for the DevOps Team
Collaborate directly to deploy solutions using tools like Git
Ensure best practices in the CI/CD environment
and resolve complex 'broken tool' scenarios
or versioning conflicts
Deliver regular major upgrades of the toolset
Ensuring smooth migration
and clear internal support guidelines
Define technical interfaces with other processes
Maintain a Technology Watch regarding MBSE implementation and deployment
