Summary: Jira Software Engineer with deep expertise in Jira software engineering to administer and enhance Jira Cloud environment. This role will focus on improving workflows, building automation, and optimizing Jira configurations to support efficient project tracking and collaboration. Strong scripting skills, hands-on experience with Jira automation, and a deep understanding of how to leverage Jira Cloud capabilities to meet organizational needs. Key Responsibilities: Administer and maintain Jira Cloud, including user management, permissions, and project configurations. Design, implement, and optimize Jira workflows, custom fields, screens, and schemes to align with business processes. Build and maintain automation rules using Jira Automation, scripting, and REST APIs to streamline operations and reduce manual effort. Develop and manage integrations between Jira and other enterprise tools (e.g., Confluence, GitHub, ServiceNow). Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Jira solutions. Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure data integrity across Jira projects. Document configurations, automation scripts, and best practices for long-term maintainability. Provide training and support to users, ensuring effective adoption of Jira features and workflows.
