Must Have
5 + years of software engineering experience, Core Java (JDK 11 +) fundamentals, Object-oriented design, Data structures and algorithms, Multithreading/concurrency basics, Experience building backend services or distributed systems, Familiarity with REST APIs, messaging, or event-driven systems, Experience with testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines, Interest in financial markets and trading systems, Ability to work closely with business users (Sales/Trading)
Nice to Have
Python or other scripting languages, Experience with messaging systems (e. g. , Solace, Kafka, ZeroMQ), Frontend exposure (React/Angular), Performance tuning or low-latency systems, Experience in Fixed Income, FX, Swaps, or Options, Exposure to pricing or risk systems, Familiarity with capital markets or electronic trading environments
