What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2–4 years of software engineering experience, React, Ruby, Python, PostgreSQL, SQL, build and launch complete features end-to-end with minimal oversight, distributed systems, data engineering, designing pipelines, optimizing schemas, ensuring data quality, write performant code, improve system observability, logging, metrics, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, product mindset, translate user needs into technical requirements, understand how your work impacts business metrics, Effective communicator, collaborate across marketing, product, and engineering partners
Nice to Have
Experience working on SEO/AEO initiatives, familiarity with SEO best practices, answer engine optimization for LLMs, structured data (Schema.org), search engine crawling/indexing, Core Web Vitals, how AI-powered search engines and LLMs consume and surface content, optimizing for AI answer generation, big data technologies, Apache Spark, Airflow, Hadoop, NoSQL databases, data warehousing platforms, Snowflake, Redshift, proactively raising and resolving technical debt, launching experiments, analyzing results, A/B testing frameworks, measuring SEO/AEO impact, partnering with marketing teams on growth initiatives, fast-paced startup environments
