Our wearable technology and software platform provide personalized insights that help individuals optimize their health, fitness, and recovery. As a Software Engineer II (Frontend), you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the user experiences that power WHOOP’s digital products. You will contribute to the design and development of member-facing experiences from concept through production, leveraging modern web technologies and AI-assisted development workflows to rapidly prototype, iterate, and ship high-quality features. This role is ideal for an engineer with strong product intuition, a high bar for user experience, and a desire to grow their ability to translate ambiguous problems into polished, user-centric solutions. RESPONSIBILITIES: - - Translate product goals into intuitive, polished user experiences, contributing to features from concept through production - Rapidly prototype, iterate, and ship member-facing features using modern AI-assisted development workflows - Build and maintain high-quality, performant web applications using Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS - Design and implement responsive, mobile-first user interfaces that deliver a seamless experience across devices - Collaborate closely with product, design, and backend teams to help shape product and UX decisions - Establish and promote best practices in frontend architecture, performance, accessibility, and maintainability QUALIFICATIONS: - - 5+ years of professional experience in frontend or full stack software development - Strong experience building production web applications using Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS - Demonstrated ability to contribute to user-facing features end-to-end, from ideation through launch - Strong product sense with a focus on delivering intuitive and high-quality user
