Proven experience with cloud infrastructure foundations, specifically Kubernetes and Postgres., Experience with incident response and maintaining highly available production systems., Hands-on experience with AWS services and infrastructure-at-scale., Communication skills with the ability to coordinate complex changes across multiple autonomous engineering teams., Professional experience in software or systems engineering, with a focus on building scalable systems.
Nice to Have
Experience using Terraform to manage complex, multi-account environments., Prior experience with BCDR planning, multi-region rollouts, or disaster recovery frameworks., Background in cloud infrastructure cost optimization or database performance tuning., Experience with Go, as it is a core part of our tech stack.
What You'll Do.
Maintain and evolve Brex’s core cloud infrastructure
including Kubernetes (EKS)
and networking foundations.
Contribute to the multi-year BCDR initiative by implementing multi-region infrastructure readiness and automated failover capabilities.
Drive technical excellence across the stack
utilizing tools like Terraform
and Go to automate and improve infrastructure lifecycle.
Participate in the team’s on-call rotation and contribute to improving our incident response frameworks and system reliability.
Foster a culture of technical excellence by improving work tracking
and operational best practices.
