What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience), 3+ years of backend development experience, professional experience in Go (Golang) as a primary language, Experience with at least one additional backend language (e. g. , Java, Python, C/C++, Ruby, Scala), knowledge of SQL databases (preferably MySQL), including query optimization, Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and design patterns, Experience working in Unix/Linux environments, Experience with AI-assisted development tools (e. g. , Claude Code, GitHub Copilot)
Nice to Have
Experience building cloud-native applications, preferably on Microsoft Azure, Familiarity with microservices architecture and API design, Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, OpenTelemetry), Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm), Background in storage, backup, or disaster recovery systems
