What They're Looking For.

Must Have

2+ Years of Experience Working as a Software Developer in a professional environment, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or experience commensurate with education requirements, Proven expertise in Python, TypeScript, Ruby, C# or other general purpose programming language, Demonstrated ownership of services or internal or external products, Back-end expertise: Creating web servers & APIs with Python, Node. js and/or other server-side web frameworks (e. g. Next. js, Ruby on Rails, Laravel, Django, Flask, etc), Front-end skills: HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6, Typescript, JSX, React), UX/UI design, data visualization, front-end styling frameworks such as Tailwind, Material UI, Bootstrap, etc. fetching data from APIs (REST & GraphQL), Database proficiency: Writing sophisticated SQL database queries with many joins in highly normalized databases, designing normalized database schemas, Excellent written communication and presentation skills, Analytical, organization, and problem-solving skills, Understanding of modern software practices such as version control systems, CI/CD workflows, test driven development, Attention to detail and high level of accuracy, Self-starter, bias for action

Nice to Have

Experience with implementing Data Quality monitoring and alerting systems, Experience with hierarchical data structures and recursive processing techniques, Experience with JIRA, Gitlab and Confluence, Experience with near real time/micro batch data feeds, Experience working with Generative AI to process highly structured data and enable others to ask questions of the data, Knowledge of ETL tools and processes, Knowledge and experience with Linux, especially as applied to Docker, Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code and relevant technologies, Familiarity with AWS Services, especially S3, RDS, and EC2, Familiarity with Docker and container orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes
