4+ years building production backend systems, Experience with background job processing, Experience with state machines, Experience working with external APIs, Built or maintained third-party integrations, Experience with REST APIs, Experience with webhooks, Experience with data sync pipelines, Experience normalising data, Experience mapping data, Experience writing migration plans, Writes code with observability in mind, Experience with structured logging, Experience with sensible error handling, Experience with alerting, Writes meaningful unit tests, Writes meaningful integration tests, Writes meaningful contract tests, Gives and receives feedback well, Asks good questions in design reviews, Communicates clearly about progress and blockers
