What They're Looking For.
Must Have
CS Fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, relational modeling), Builds responsive, accessible interfaces using semantic HTML, CSS, and modern React patterns, Constructs robust APIs and 3rd-party integrations, ensuring resilience through proper error handling, retries, and idempotency, Utilizes logs, metrics, and traces to monitor feature health and troubleshoot production issues, Partners effectively with Product and Design to refine requirements and provide technical feasibility feedback

Product Mindset: Ships features iteratively with a focus on measurable user impact and rapid feedback loops, Ensures code quality through unit/integration testing, active participation in code reviews, and maintaining readable documentation, Adopts new technologies quickly and actively seeks feedback to improve technical and professional skills

Expand the platform to support increasingly complex financial flows
Focus on building reliable reconciliation and reporting systems that operate automatically and at scale
Design and implement durable solutions that improve the integrity and transparency of our financial infrastructure
Translate and untangle complex business logic across our ERP integrations
Ensure every transaction moving through Perk is correctly represented across systems
Contribute to a codebase that gives Finance and the broader business confidence in the numbers behind the platform
Take responsibility for the entire lifecycle of a feature
from understanding customer pains with the product team
Solve complex problems without unnecessary friction
