What They're Looking For.
Must Have
6+ years of experience designing, building, and operating backend applications and distributed systems at scale, proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, proficiency with cloud infrastructure (AWS), proficiency with infrastructure as code (Terraform), A track record of end-to-end ownership — from design and implementation through to long-term operation in production, Skilled at cross-team collaboration, Comfortable setting direction and defining architectural standards that scale across teams, Experienced in mentoring and elevating those around you, fostering engineering practices, Curious, eager to learn, and motivated to push the boundaries of how modern software gets built and shipped
Nice to Have
React or Next. js, DynamoDB, develop a CI/CD platform or internal developer platform used by other engineers, contributing to, or participating in open-source projects, optimizing build systems for monorepos or polyrepo setups, build caching, artifact storage, or dependency management at scale
