What They're Looking For.
Must Have
at least three years of experience in engineering, specifically within backend-heavy or data-heavy environments, Cloud experience, advocate for TDD and CI/CD, Experience navigating uncertainty, A collaborative, team-first mindset, Curiosity
Nice to Have
Professional background in C#, GraphQL, Elastic, MongoDB, AWS, Data infrastructure background, Familiarity with hybrid teams

We’re hiring a Software Engineer to join our Core Data team in London. This team builds the systems that power how Hudl understands sport at scale. From identifying players and teams across thousands of leagues to processing the moments that become highlights, stats and analysis, our services sit at the centre of Hudl’s platform. You’ll work on the Global Sports Library (GSL), the backbone that connects identities, metadata and game context across Hudl products. That means designing APIs, distributed services and large-scale data pipelines that help ensure every product at Hudl is operating from the same understanding of the game. The work is backend-heavy and deeply technical: data modeling, entity resolution, ingestion pipelines, consistency challenges, scalability and platform design.
