GDIT is seeking an experienced Backend Developer to join our team of building scalable, maintainable and high-performance backend services using a microservices architecture. As a Backend Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing backend services using modern backend frameworks and technologies with a focus on building modular, loosely coupled components that integrate with our frontend applications You will work closely with our development team to build and maintain scalable and maintainable backend architecture. **Required experience with:** * Demonstrated hand on experience with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot and Hibernate * Strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles with experience designing Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) * Experience with Oracle Relational Database Services (RDS) * Experience creating RESTful APIs, including designing API endpoints, handling requests and responses, and implementing API security measures * Experience with Java and Java-based technologies, with a focus on building scalable and maintainable backend services * Experience with unit testing and integration testing using JUni
