About the Role Avantos AI is seeking a Backend Engineer to join our team in building the Avantos web application from the ground up. Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend services using Golang and Python - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features - Implement and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models using PostgreSQL - Work with event-driven architectures and message queues, particularly Kafka - Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving our development practices - Manage and optimize our AWS cloud infrastructure - Troubleshoot, debug, and fix production issues - Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code - Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development and deployment processes Minimum Qualifications - 3-5 years of experience in backend development - Strong proficiency in Golang and / or Python - Experience with AWS services and cloud architecture - Solid understanding of relational databases, particularl
