What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of professional software development experience, experience developing backend systems using modern programming languages and frameworks, Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs and web services, Solid understanding of relational databases and SQL, Experience working in cloud-based or distributed environments, Experience writing automated tests and working within CI/CD pipelines, problem-solving skills and attention to detail, Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams
Nice to Have
Experience working on high-availability, transaction-based systems, Experience with payments or financial transaction processing, Experience integrating third-party services or external APIs, Exposure to microservices or event-driven architectures, Experience modernising or evolving legacy systems, Experience working in Agile delivery environments, Interest in sport, technology or digital platforms
