ABOUT THE ROLE Second Front Systems’ (2F) Product team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join our growing technical team. We are a small team working to accelerate the deployment of emerging technology into national security use-cases. We are seeking technical professionals who want to operate on the front lines of an exciting and disruptive mission. As a Software Engineer for Second Front Systems, we’ll expect you to develop and deliver high quality software. You’ll be empowered to collaborate with others to implement software that delivers unique capabilities for our commercial and government customers, including the Department of Defense, who are looking to accelerate the transition and adoption of innovative technologies for national defense. WHAT YOU’LL DO - Work with a distributed team on both the front and back end of our cloud-based platform - Agile development: writing, reviewing, maintaining, testing, and deploying code - Develop integrations with other applications and systems within our cloud ecosystem - Participate in code reviews, mentor others, and evangelize best coding practices - Design and implement architecture based on product and feature requirements - Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including product managers, UX designers, and other engineers) to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements - Engage in the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline development, mai
