**[What the role is]** The role supports industry and applied R&D projects through design, development, and delivery, while supervising students in their final year projects **[What you will be working on]** * Undertake industry and R&D project design and development. * Work with project manager/lead to fulfil the required project deliverables. * Supervise students in their final year projects. * Maintain a strong interest in software development and applied research. * High-performing candidates may be considered for potential future conversion to a Lecturer role based on suitability and prevailing institutional requirements. **[What we are looking for]** * Relevant qualification in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology or related disciplines. * At least 1 year of relevant working experience in software and system development. * Ability to use AI-assisted tools to enhance coding efficiency and quality. * Practical knowledge of Cloud Computing for project deployment. * Experience in Agile Software Development Methodology. * Strong soft skills and a demonstrated willingness to learn new technologies.
