**Job Requisition ID #** 26WD97950 # Job Description: Software Engineer ## Overview We are looking for a Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of scalable software systems. This role focuses on **hands-on coding, execution of well-defined tasks, and delivering high-quality software** across backend, frontend, and CDN/system components, while effectively leveraging modern development tools including AI-assisted coding. ## ## Responsibilities * Design, develop, test, and maintain **clean, efficient, and reliable code** * Implement **features and enhancements** across backend and frontend systems * Contribute to **CDN-related configuration, integration, and troubleshooting** to support content delivery and system performance * Debug issues across **backend, frontend, and CDN layers** using logs, data, and monitoring tools * Participate in **code reviews** , ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices * Collaborate with cross-functional teams (product, QA, DevOps) to deliver solutions * Follow engineering best practices including **testing, CI/CD, and version control** * Use **AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, Copilot)** to improve productivity, code quality, and problem-solving efficiency * Provide clear updates on progress, risks, and blockers * Build working knowledge of system architecture, data flows, and CDN behavior ## ## Required Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience) * 2–5 years of software development experience * Proficiency in at least one programming language - Java and JavaScript * Experience with **full stack development** * Familiarity with APIs, databases, and basic system design concepts * Exposure to **CDN concepts (caching, delivery, invalidation, logging)** * Strong debugging and problem-solving skills * Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) **Learn More** **About Autodesk** Welcome to Autodesk!
