Autodesk is searching for a skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Platform Services and Emerging Technologies team. In this role, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and optimizing our cloud-based platform, with a focus on API Gateway, serverless computing, virtual machines, and container orchestration services in both AWS and GCP environments. If you are passionate about leveraging cloud services to build scalable and resilient platforms while driving innovation and collaboration, this is the perfect opportunity for you. **This role is hybrid-based in Dublin, Ireland.** **Responsibilities:** As part of the API Management team, you will: * Develop solutions on the North-South & East-West API Gateways for whole of Autodesk Platform Services. * Develop cloud based solutions for metering & monetization of APIs that can handle well upwards of 60,000 requests per second. * Enable multi-region availability for the platform. * Contribute to code reviews, paying off technical debts for the team and enable innersourcing of the platform. * On a rotation basis, respond to operational requests & incidents related to the platform. * Have a sense of ownership & one-team spirit in whatever you do! **Minimum Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in platform development or a similar role. * 3+ years of hands-on software development experience in **Python** , **Go** , JavaScript * Proficiency in serverless computing services such as AWS Lambda. * Hands-on experience with virtual machine services (AWS EC2/ GCP Compute Engine) and container orchestration(AWS ECS,GCP Container Engine, **k8s**). * Good understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaaC) principles and tools like Terraform
