Full Job Description

The team at Advanced Space is leading humanity back to the Moon and pioneering innovative solutions in the space industry. This team is seeking a Software Engineer with 5-8 years of experience, that will be responsible for developing ground and flight software for missions to the Moon and beyond. This role will be based in Westminster, Colorado, and an ideal candidate for this role will love not just the responsibilities but will also have a passion for the exploration, development, and settlement of space. S. citizens, or lawful permanent residents), as required by applicable laws and regulations. We do not provide visa sponsorship or support work authorization for this role. Candidates must be authorized to work in the U. S. without the need for current or future sponsorship. Responsibilities: Handle a broad range of tasks, from bug fixes to feature development. Design and debug components, possibly requiring collaboration for more complex system design. Contributes to architectural discussions/decisions. Can mentor junior engineers on effective coding techniques. Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, can troubleshoot basic issues. Basic understanding of container management (e. g. kubernetes). Experienced with design patterns and translating requirements/architecture into well-structured code. Can effectively identify opportunities for software reuse and works toward cohesive implementation across modules. Contributes to higher level design and architectural decisions. Able to identify pros/cons of various lifecycle models
